PHU YEN PROVINCE
Phu Yen is an ideal place to start a tourist business on. Low operating costs, and close to transport links such as motorways, airports, ports, and railways. Modern telecommunications also exists.
Phu Yen is a coastal province in the southern part of central Vietnam. Its coastline is 189 kilometers long. Several mountain ranges that extends close to the sea have created a number of beautiful lagoons. In addition to its wealth of natural resources Phu Yen has also a rich human and literary history. Phu Yens original cultural traditions, including cultural festivals. Festivals of ethnic minorities in the province attracts many tourists.
Population: 847 000 inhabitants, over 50% are working, industrious, talented and openminded to assimilate new knoweleges.The tourism sector has increased by 16.5% annually in recent years.
In December 2009, 24 foreign companies have got planning licenses with an estimated turnover of about 127 million.
Healthcare: 8 hospitals, 17 clinics, a rehabilitation hospital and 79 health centers with beds and 1.350 and 1.762 doctor. A new hospital with 500 beds and 3 new universities are under construction.
Good communications, as highways, airports, ports, railways and telecommunications, all of which also is being expanded. Tuy Hoa is the largest airport in central Vietnam and will soon become an international airport. Vung Ro port is 10 meters deep and is an international port, which can accommodate ships of 10 000 tonnes. Our area is located only 1 km from the highway and 5 km from the center of Tuy Hoa and the train station and 11 km from Tuy Hoa airport.
