Phu Yen province
Phu Yen is a coastal province in southern Central Vietnam, located in the east of Truong Son mountain range. Mountains and hills make up 70% of the area, the terrain is sloping eastwards and clearly divided. The coastline is nearly 200 km long, with many mountain ranges running close to the sea, creating a lot of bays, lagoons which are favorable conditions for the development of tourism, fishery culture - catching and sea transport.

Phu Yen has nearly 30 ethnic minorities, mainly concentrating in the mountainous districts in the west of the province. Many ethnic tribes have been living here since long time like Cham, Ede, Bana, H’re, Hoa, Mnong, Raglai . . . Thanks to favorable geographical position and living conditions, many ethnic tribes have come here to make their livings and settle down.
